Folk Devils

Working with a new company focusing on the worlds of rural mythology, the great outdoors and the many other creative branches, I was asked to create a word mark to combine with a traditional Lino cut image made by celebrated artist, Richard Wells. To ensure harmony between the image and the word mark, I decided to lino cut the wording and traditionally print it myself. To me, this was an ideal project as I was able to create something 100% unique and not rely on digital crutches or 'off the peg' solutions. The client got something tailor-made to them.
